Planner and NodeJS Developer job description

Sitting within the IT team, the candidate is responsible for 3 main tasks :

– coding and develop webservices for integration purposes

– responsible for Odoo configuration and implementation

– IT support for these pre listed tasks

The consultant/developer jobs seek candidates with both business skills and technical IT knowledge, and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure.
What are the duties and responsibilities?

Application Support part: this kind of task are often responding to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions. Knowing this, the following duties and responsibilities are generally included in this job description below:

• Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
• Providing technical support to teams within the organisation, and to external clients when required
• Assisting with systems integrations/Webservices/server response…
• Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Managing coordination at a local and international level where required

Developing part:

• will work on new developments/webservices for our future clients
• proposing refactoring suggestions of the existing codes (Java/NodeJS…)

Consultant Odoo ERP:

• assisting the project manager in collecting requirements, configuring and delivering Odoo projects
• Delivering regular and customised training to teams within the business

What qualifications and experience should have?
Most Application Support jobs ask for one or more university qualifications or other formal training to be eligible for the role. Here are some of the most suitable degrees:

• IT/coding
• Computing Studies
• Information Systems
• Odoo knowledges

Other skills that are relevant to this role, and sometimes asked for in a developer/Application Support job description include:

• Should have 3 years experience of coding using NodeJS framework.

• Public API integration such as Google, Facebook etc.
• ExpressJS or any other related framework.
• Knowledge how to use SOAP & REST api.
• At least have an experience in No SQL like (mongoDB etc).

• Intimate knowledge of an organisation’s computing systems
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge

• Listening ability and patience
• Good customer service and relationship management experience

Salary: AED7,500.00 – AED10,000.00 per month

Experience:
